Diamond Size: 1.50ct
A carat is the international unit used to measure the weight of a diamond or gemstone. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams, or 0.2 grams. This means a 5ct diamond will weigh 1 gram.
The diamond you have chosen weighs 1.50 carats and measures around 6.71×5.86×4.20mm. Remember, these measurements are only an estimation, as every diamond has unique attributes.
Colour: G
G Coloured diamonds certificated by GIA are near colourless diamonds, and their very slight colour difference, if noticed, can only be detected when compared side by side to the top colourless diamond grades of D or E. On their own or set within jewellery, G coloured diamonds appear colourless and therefore offer an excellent choice in terms of appearance and value for money, and are very popular.
Clarity: VVS1
VVS1 graded diamonds certificated by GIA will generally have one tiny inclusion. The inclusion is never visible to the unaided eye and can only be located using a powerful microscope. This clarity grade is almost as rare, but not quite as rare as the IF clarity, and as such is almost as highly regarded but command less of a premium.
Cut: Very Good
Very Good cut diamonds are cut to reflect nearly all the brightness, fire and scintillation that a diamond can offer. The difference to the unaided eye between an Excellent cut and a Very Good cut is so slight that they are almost indistinguishable. Very Good cuts are an excellent choice and offer better value for money than Excellent cut diamonds.
